چکیده
Abstract We present Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) observations of the young, gas-rich debris disk around HD 110058 at 0.″3–0.″6 resolution. The is detected in 0.85 and 1.3 mm continuum, as well J = 2–1 3–2 transitions 12 CO 13 CO. resolve dust gas distributions reveal that this smallest stars similar luminosity observed by ALMA. new ALMA data confirm very close to edge-on, shown previously scattered-light images. use radiative transfer modeling constrain physical properties disks. density peaks 31 au has a smooth outer edge extends out ∼70 au. Interestingly, emission marginally resolved along minor axis, which indicates it vertically thick if truly edge-on with an aspect ratio between 0.13 0.28. also find distribution more compact than (similar 49 Ceti), could be due low viscosity higher release rate small radii. Using simulations evolution taking into account photodissociation, shielding, viscous evolution, we 110058's mass are consistent secondary origin scenario. Finally, densities may high enough cause outward drift grains disk.

Dust properties across the CO snowline in the HD 163296 disk from ALMA and VLA observations
Context. To characterize the mechanisms of planet formation it is crucial to investigate the properties and evolution of protoplanetary disks around young stars, where the initial conditions for the growth of planets are set. The high spatial resolution of Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) and Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array (VLA) observations now allows the study of radial va...
متن کاملThe impact of ALMA on debris disk research
Debris disks are optically thin dust disks around stars produced by ongoing collisions of planetesimals left over from the planet formation process. They help us to improve our understanding of the formation and evolution of planetary systems. Our Herschel open time key program DUNES (DUst around NEarby Stars) aims at detecting debris disks with a fractional luminosity similar to the Edgeworth-...
متن کاملMorphology of the very inclined debris disk around HD 32297⋆
Context. Direct imaging of circumstellar disks at high angular resolution is mandatory to provide morphological information that constrains their properties, in particular the spatial distribution of dust. For a long time, this challenging objective was, in most cases, only within the realm of space telescopes from the visible to the infrared. New techniques combining observing strategy and dat...
متن کاملThe twofold debris disk around HD 113766 A⋆
Context. Warm debris disks are a sub-sample of the large population of debris disks, and display excess emission in the mid-infrared. Around solar-type stars, very few objects (∼2% of all debris disks) show emission features in mid-IR spectroscopic observations that are attributed to small, warm silicate dust grains. The origin of this warm dust could be explained either by a recent catastrophi...
متن کاملDiscovery of Resolved Debris Disk around Hd 131835
We report the discovery of the resolved disk around HD 131835 and present the analysis and modeling of its thermal emission. HD 131835 is a ∼15 Myr A2 star in the Scorpius–Centaurus OB association at a distance of 122.7+ 12.8 16.2 pc . The extended disk has been detected to ~ 1. 5 (200 AU) at 11.7 and 18.3 μm with T-ReCS on Gemini South. The disk is inclined at an angle of ∼75°with the positi...
